Tractor Pull Rules

1. Flagman rules the track, NO INTOXICANTS allowed in the pull.

2. $5.00 pull fee per pull, per class, per day. A sponsored complementary trophy will be given to 1st, 2nd & 3rd.

3. 1959 or older vintage farm stock tractors may participate. Post war and Pre war tractors to be combined in same classes.

4. NO Tractors over 12,000 pounds, classes up to 10,000 pounds, Exhibition to 12,000 pounds.

5. Tractors will be inspected for properly operating brakes.

6. One(1) pull per tractor per class, with a limit of two(2) pulls per tractor per day.

7. All tractors to be Factory Stock – NO Modified Tractors will be allowed to pull.

8. Rear tires to be no more than one size over factory original- NO “Cut” tires, radial tires, duals or chains will be allowed.

9. No more than two(2) factory weights per wheel, front suitcase weights only, all must be secured.

10. Tires with or without fluid.

11. Drawbar not to be closer than 20” from center of rear axle and not more than 20” from the ground.

12. Tractors will pull in first or second gear only and not to exceed 3.5 mph(3½), Torque amplified tractors may not shift during the pull.

Speed limit will be enforced, two(2) horn blows and you are disqualified.

13. Drivers must remain seated at all times during the pull.

14. Drivers must exhibit the ability to control the tractor at all times, this includes during registration.

15. All classes pull Saturday and Sunday, weigh-in and registration 11:00am both days.

Note– The Somerset Steam and Gas Engine Assoc. has the right to change, alter, adjust and or amend these Tractor pull rules as the occasion warrants. The Tractor Pull Committee’s word is FINAL!!!
